Have you found yourself wanting an additional four HUNDRED horsepower out of your 2GR swapped MR2? Prepare to turn your already fun 300hp MR2 into a 750hp monster. (These horsepower figures are at the crank, see below for wheel horsepower figures)
The typical 2GR swapped MR2 tends to make roughly 275-290 wheel horsepower here on our dyno at TCS Motorsports. Turbocharging this engine with the proper components will take the car to over 600 wheel horsepower! While we have successfully pushed these stock engines to nearly 700 wheel horsepower, we have found that under 630whp or so is the sweet spot for reliability with these engines.
Below you will find a complete kit that will allow you to transform your 2GR swapped Toyota MR2. You will need a professional dyno tune after installation, and I highly recommend someone with MR2 or 2GR tuning experience here. I cannot stress that enough! The 2GR engine, when turbocharged, wants to make and insane amount of power and torque and it takes great tuning to keep the stock engine happy.
This is a one stop package here, other than the tuning required. Kit will include everything needed to install and get your car started/running with the turbo kit. You will need a clutch that is capable of holding whatever power you are aiming for. We highly recommend the Clutchmasters Twin disc clutch kit, as it holds all the power you will ever need, along with a smooth driving experience.
Please keep in mind that this is essentially purchasing a complete custom turbo kit, custom intercooler kit, complete fueling setup, complete standalone ecu setup, flex fuel setup, boost controller, as well as catch can setup that is required to produce this much horsepower on the 2GRFE engine. All of these pieces are made to fit the 1991-1999 Toyota MR2, unless otherwise stated.

YOU WILL NEED AN E153 TURBO MODEL TRANSMISSION FOR THIS. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO INSTALL THIS KIT AND TRY TO PUSH EXTREME POWER THROUGH THE S54 NON TURBO TRANSMISSION, YOU WILL NOT LIKE THE OUTCOME!

- Custom turbo adapter (this piece will connect to the TCS Motorsports modular Y pipe). If you do not already have the TCS Y pipe and frankenstein Motorworks cast 2GR headers, you will also need those pieces as well
