This kit is designed to bypass the factory oil cooler that comes on some 2GRFE engines. If you are using the new cast Frankenstein Motorworks headers, this piece may be necessary b/c of clearance issues with the headers and the factory oil cooler coolant lines.
This kit comes with all parts/hardware required to install. The backside is cut for an O-ring seal (o-ring is installed before shipping) for a gasket free install. Also included are 2 multi-ply silicone coolant caps to cap off where the oil cooler coolant lines were previously connected.
There are also dimples on the front face of the block off kit that makes for installation of an aftermarket oil pressure or oil temperature gauge. Just drill/tap for the desired thread size, and install your sensor in one of these 2 spots before installation.
Application: Works on ANY 2GRFE Engine that has a factory oil cooler. If you have a 2GRFE engine without oil cooler, this part is of no use to you.
